Erin: Gemini
Are you a morning person or a night owl?
Claire: Morning person!
Erin: I’m definitely more of a morning person but give me some tequila and I’ll party with you all night!
Tea or coffee drinker?
Claire: Both — coffee in the morning and tea in the evenings. Love both equally.
Erin: I drink tea all day long! When I need a treat or an extra boost of energy, I walk to my local coffee shop in my Denver neighborhood called Method Collective. It’s so nice to get out and have a socially distanced interaction with the barista.
We’re food lovers - name a dish you love. We love a recipe share too!
Claire: My go-to for entertaining is either a Moroccon Tagine served with Couscous or a Seafood Paella served with Tinto de Verano, a classic & refreshing cocktail made with red wine, lemon lime soda like Sprite (or Tonic water), and a squeeze of fresh lemon.
Erin: Oh man, it’s hard to choose just one dish! I recently bought a BBQ for my backyard and I’ve been obsessing over grilled veggies. I started grilling eggplant and I can’t get enough of it.
What is the best advice you have ever received? What's the worst?
Claire: A successful business owner I once interned for in NYC once told me to only stay at a job for two years max. After two years, you’ve learned all that you have to learn and should move on to the next challenge. This is great advice, unless of course the company you work for keeps supporting you with new challenges—with accompanying promotions and pay raises.
Erin: Best: “Sit at the table.” - Sheryl Sandberg in Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead
Worst: I think I’ve blocked out all the bad advice.

Our first collection was named after streets we’ve lived on and loved. What’s a street or city you’ve loved and why?
Claire: Having lived in NYC for 8 years, there are so many streets—from quaint cobblestone streets in SoHo like Crosby Street., to inspiring streets of uptown Park Avenue. One street I adore is Bleeker Street in the West Village… it’s lined with fun boutiques and the West Vil is probably my favorite neighborhood in all of the city.
Erin: I love this question!
Eliot Street - I bought my house in Denver this year in August. I’m still getting the hang of homeownership but I’m so happy to finally have my own place.
East 2nd Street - This was where I lived the last four years in NYC. I had five roommates and it was honestly sorta a party house, but I loved living there and being right in the thick of the East Village.

What are you listening to lately?
Claire: I’ve been listening to so many podcasts recently! Hidden Brain, The Daily, Invisibilia, Fat Mascara, Supernatural with Ashley Flowers, and Stuff You Should Know are a few favorites.
Erin: I’ve been loving Gregory Alan Isakov! I saw him in concert last fall and I think I’m just holding onto it because I don’t know when concerts will be normal again.
Whose style inspires you?
Claire: I draw a lot of inspiration from interior design. I’m really into modern minimalism with organic shapes + textures and this really translates into my fashion choices.
Erin: Mirjam Flatau @mija_mija on IG! I love simple, high quality silhouettes.
What are you watching or seen lately that you loved?
Claire: I recently got Apple TV+ and I must say that I’m loving some new shows on there. The Morning Show was so good. I also loved Servant, a psychological thriller series based on a novel of the same name.
Erin: Pen15 on Hulu - If you’re a 90’s kid you’ll laugh out loud, I promise you!

Erin: Backyard hangs around my firepit! It’s the only thing that has made the summer feel semi-normal!
Who should we be following?
Claire: @hannahbronfman, @melissawoodhealth; @eyeswoon; @edeneats; @sarahshermansamuel; @nelliediamond; @chinaealexander.
Erin: I’m less about who you follow and more about living your life! Turn off your phone and live! Unfollow anyone who makes you feel bad about yourself or your life. On news outlets and Twitter diversify who you follow to see what everyone is talking about. It will be worth it, even if you don’t agree with them!
What’s an upcoming project you are excited about?
Claire: Erin and I will be launching our second business, @frolikbeauty in November! Stay tuned for updates ;)
Erin: Frolik Beauty! It’s available for pre-order as of November! It’s all about living your best life and doing the things that make you happy and healthy!
Where can we find you?
Claire: Find me on the gram: @claire_fonta, @mettasociety, or @frolikbeauty!
Erin: Best way to find me is on Instagram @erineastburn, @mettasociety or @frolikbeauty! xx
